The “PANAGIA OF ELPIDA” nursing home in Ano Syros was founded in 1977 and offered hospitality to 24 elderly people. Today it hosts 35 elderly people aged 80 – 99 years old and employs 24 staff members of which 15 are responsible for the care of the elderly, 5 nurses and 10 caregivers.
